Vision + Values
We desire to help you discover and EXPERIENCE the way of LIFE you were created to live IN CHRIST.
VALUES
Values are the greatest asset that one can have. Personal values keep us on the course of good decision making, protect our integrity, and guide our relationships. Good organizational values create and protect culture, set ministry standards and priorities, and align us with the organizational vision.
We put our hope in JESUS.
“Christ is also the head of the church, which is his body. He is the beginning, supreme over all who rise from the dead. So he is first in everything.” Colossians 1:18
We respond in WORSHIP.
“Then Mary took a twelve-ounce jar of expensive perfume made from the essence of nard, and she anointed Jesus’ feet with it, wiping his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance.” John 12:3
We are persistent in PRAYER.
“But I tell you this—though he won’t do it for friendship’s sake if you keep knocking long enough, he will get up and give you whatever you need because of your shameless persistence.’ Luke 11:8
We make PEOPLE our priority.
“Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.” Philippians 2:3-4
We grow stronger in COMMUNITY.
“They stoned Paul and dragged him out of town, thinking he was dead. But as the believers gathered around him, he got up and went back into the town.” Acts 14:19-20
We SERVE others JOYFULLY.
“Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward and that the Master you are serving is Christ.” Colossians 3:23-24
We are GENEROUS with our gifts.
“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another.” 1 Peter 4:10
We invest in the NEXT GENERATION.
“I [King David] have worked hard to provide materials for building the Temple of the Lord—nearly 4,000 tons of gold, 40,000 tons of silver, and so much iron and bronze that it cannot be weighed. I have also gathered timber and stone for the walls, though you may need to add more. You [David’s son Solomon] have a large number of skilled stonemasons and carpenters and craftsmen of every kind. You have expert goldsmiths and silversmiths and workers of bronze and iron. Now begin the work, and may the Lord be with you!” 1 Chronicles 22:14-16
We DEVELOP the potential in others.
“The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus.” Acts 4:13
We do everything with EXCELLENCE.
“‘Yes,’ the king replied, ‘and to those who use well what they are given, even more will be given. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.” Luke 19:26
