”My God will meet your every need out of his riches in the glory that is found in Christ Jesus. “

Philippians 4:19 (CEB)

As we conclude 2025 and look forward to celebrating Avenue’s 5th anniversary, we are undertaking our first end-of-the-year offering. Furthermore, as our church grows, so does the demand to meet our congregation's needs, alongside our ongoing commitment to support other local and international ministry initiatives.

Establishing an annual end-of-the-year offering enables us to expand our financial resources, supporting both current and future ministry needs and projects. More importantly, this is an incredible way to exercise our faith in believing God’s promises in response to our obedience, sacrifice, and generosity.

This year’s theme, EVERY NEED, is a call to trust that God will meet our needs as we partner with Him in meeting ministry needs and outreach initiatives. Read about this year’s projects below and pray about how God would have you and your household give during this time.

We will give together as an act of unity and worship during our services on December 7th, but you may give early by clicking below.

This year we have three projects we want to contribute to.

1.GOOD SHEPHERD CHILDREN’S HOME

10% of the total amount received will be donated to the Good Shepherd Children’s Home of Rutherford County. GSCH is a Christian-based home for disadvantaged boys and girls facing difficult circumstances in their lives, many times at no fault of their own. Their current home, over 60 years old, has housed more than 1,000 children over the years. They are in the process of building a new $3 million, 20,000 sq ft home to accommodate their growing needs. 2. ABRAHAM PROJECT PANAMA

10% of the total amount received will be donated to the Abraham Project Panama. Over the last three years, we have donated over $10,000 to support Stephen and Kendra Thomas and their family in their efforts to establish a housing and education facility for single mothers in Panama. They have recently been informed that they will not be allowed to connect to public water and are being required to drill a private well that will cost an additional $6,000.00

3. AVENUE CHURCH’S FUTURE PERMANENT LOCATION

80% of the total amount received will be designated for our future permanent location. We have been blessed to have spent the last 5 years growing at The Walnut House. It has been a phenomenal portable experience compared to many other church plants. However, it has not been without some limitations that are becoming more restrictive as we continue to grow. A permanent location will create more ministry opportunities within our congregation and community, but it will also come with a much greater financial investment and responsibility. Whether it is a short-term lease or a property purchase, we want to be prepared for the opportunity when it arrives.
